The past 3 nights were spent at my grandma’s place. Aunt went to Bangkok for a holiday and poor grandma was left all alone. So as a filial grand-daughter, I decided to accompany her. But the main reason was because I wanted to get away from home. What my mom did to me on Friday made me vow that I would never ever wana see or talk to her ever again.
I was so MAD. I may be in the wrong but that’s certainly not the way to respond to a situation. What she did only served to worsen the relationship between mother and daughter. In fact, I was 60% traumatized. Spent one third of the day crying my eyeballs out. Not because I was repentant but because I was deeply hurt by what she did to me. I went to church with a bitter heart. Reached the indoor stadium at 9.30am. Whilst waiting for service to commence, I sat down and wondered about why mom-daughter relationship was turning from bad to worse. No doubt, it had to be the work of the devil. I prayed to God and asked Him to help me learn to let go, forgive. If Jesus is able to forgive a great big sinner like me, why cant I do the same? Jesus Loves me, this I know. =D
Walked side by side with my dad from the carpark to the indoor stadium. I took a quick glance at his face and realized how much he has aged. For once, I felt compassion draw all over me. And I began to ask myself questions like why couldn’t I seem to appreciate and understand how much my dad loves me? And why couldn’t I express my thoughts and emotions to them easily? Hmmmmm…
Went for my first circuit driving lesson last Saturday. Driving IS fun! Instructor kept saying that I was driving too fast. LOL. Must also learn to get used with having to use the same leg for brake and accelerator. Seriously, I cant wait to drive. Shall drive all of you out for supper once I get my license kiez? =D
Spent the whole Saturday after driving watching CSI New York with my honey at my grandma’s place. Honey dropped by at around 9 plus in the morning to eat tang yuan my gm cooked. We ate a total of 9 tang yuans each!!!! I dint really feel full, it felt just nice but thinking about it, (9 tang yuans?) made me feel FAT. Then we went out to ta bao my gm fave hokkien mee from geylang for dinner but store was closed. So went to golden mile to ta bao claypot chicken rice instead. Had BBQ chicken wings to go along too. Took a 20min walk downstairs before seeing my honey off.
Went to catch Death Note 2 with my honey and his bro’s frenz at Vivo City yesterday night. I thought the movie was boring. Its all about writing a persons’ name on the notebook and he/she will die of a heart attack. Story line seems to be revolving in circles, so much that I fell asleep three times. BOO~ and some bugger stepped on my m)phosis slippers and caused the strap to snap instantaneously. He didn’t even apologise. Argh, Had to walk bare footed but honey dint allow so he piggy-backed me. It was already 12 midnight by the time the movie ended. Stores were long closed and so I couldn’t get slippers. Resolved the problem by using the broken strap to tie a knot with the other strap. It was wearable but tight and I couldn’t walk fast lest the knot unties.
Before After
Ended up in Clarke quay. Honey was in berms so all of us couldn’t go clubbing. Had to settle for a pub instead. Reminds me of Nicholas. Haha. Found a table at some pub called The Pump. I had one of my faves – vodka cran! Ordered sex on the beach as well. Tasted abit like fruit punch. But I like. Heehee. After our drinks, me and honey went home while the rest went to play pool.
Just had a big bowl of shark’s fins soup for dinner. I’m having a denim skirt fetish as well. Sadly, I don’t think I’l ever get to buy my zara denim skirt cause I don’t have $$!! Am left with a pathetic 2 dollar note in my wallet. I love CSI. I’m adddicted prison break too. I have a sudden craving for ondeh-ondeh. Especially after watching the channel 8 9pm drama serial. Amoy street food centre has one of Singapore’s best selling ondeh-ondeh. Didn’t manage to get to try from the stall that was recommended but the other stall’s ondeh-ondeh was good enough to make me crave for more. Amoy’s street strawberry kiwi fruit juice is not bad but I thought it tasted like apple juice. The you tiao I had in my porridge tasted like cheese to me. Guess my taste buds went berserk that day. Ordered desserts too. Queue was super duper long but we only joined the queue after lunch office hours. Seeing the way I eat, I feel really tempted to start a food blog.
PS: Elvin Ng is gonna star in the next 9pm drama serial! HOT~
